What is Giver.EU?
Giver.EU is the European bazaar of knotz, goodz & servicez on Solana, made in the European Union and born in the kyberia.sk community. People give knowledge, artefacts, goods and services to each other and are rewarded in GANESHA, the unit of Kybchain.
What is a knot?
A knot is a KNowledge Ownership Token: one numbered edition of something given on Giver.EU. The giver decides how many knots exist (for example 2, 5 or 7); the supply is fixed on chain and nobody can add more.
What does the knot token (NFT) do? Can I pass it on?
The knot is the key: whoever holds an edition can open it. Pass it on from its page on Giver.EU (“pass it on”) and the key travels with it: for sealed knots your browser re-encrypts the content key (and your licence key, if any) to the recipient’s encryption key, then one signature moves the token. The recipient can open it; you can no longer open it through Giver.EU, and a licence key follows the new holder. The recipient only needs to have opened giver.eu once to create their encryption key. Sending the token with a wallet app instead moves no key, so always pass knots on through Giver.EU. Nobody can be made to forget, of course: files you saved before passing a knot on stay on your device, like a book you have read and given away. Sealed knots arrive in the redeemer’s wallet once the reward has been released; instant knots arrive at once.
What can I give?
Texts, PDF bundles, code, software licence keys, passwords and private links, artefacts such as digital art, music, photographs or 3D models, and any physical good or service. Only give what is legal and what you are legally allowed to give, such as your own works (see the content policy).
Which languages does Giver.EU speak?
All 24 official languages of the European Union. Pick yours in the header; the choice is remembered in your browser and, once you sign in, with your wallet. The translations are machine-made, native speakers are welcome to improve them.
What do the view counts mean?
Every knot shows how many different visitors looked at it (counted once per visitor and day, anonymously, without cookies) and how many did so today. The counts are public and can be used to sort the bazaar by most viewed or trending today.
How does an exchange work?
The redeemer commits a GANESHA reward to an on-chain escrow. The giver delivers: for sealed knots by encrypting the key to the redeemer, for goods and services by marking the order delivered with an encrypted delivery note. The redeemer confirms, or the reward is released automatically after the confirmation window. If nothing is delivered before the deadline, the reward returns to the redeemer automatically.
Is Giver.EU a shop or a marketplace?
No. Giver.EU is a bazaar for exchange, barter and reward between people. Givers and redeemers exchange directly with each other; rewards are held by an on-chain escrow program, not by Giver.EU. Giver.EU is not an officially recognised marketplace or merchant.
What does it cost to present a knot or an offer?
An anti-spam upload fee of 1 GANESHA per started megabyte of uploaded files or photos (minimum 1 GANESHA), sent to the Giver.EU treasury in the same transaction that publishes the knot. On top come Solana network fees and rent (about 0.005 SOL for a digital knot). A knot hosted on your own server costs the minimum fee of 1 GANESHA.
Why is there an upload fee?
To keep the bazaar free of spam and to make storage of encrypted files sustainable. It is small for real givers and expensive for anyone trying to flood the bazaar.
Are there other fees?
Giver.EU keeps 1 % of the reward of each completed exchange; returned rewards are not charged. Redeemers cover the Solana network fee and a small refundable escrow rent.
Is there a limit on rewards during the beta?
Yes. While Giver.EU is in beta, a single redemption can lock at most 1,000,000 GANESHA in escrow. The source code of the escrow program is public and covered by automated tests, but it has not had an external audit yet; the cap limits what any undiscovered bug could affect. It will be lifted after an audit.
What is GANESHA?
GANESHA is the unit of Kybchain, a community token created in the kyberia.sk community long before Giver.EU, and the currency of the 0th Giver.EU bazaar. On Solana mainnet its mint is UGYkQ1FjWDEZhL8Sgqh1KwgKFgnHkHJqWWWtewDk6t4. Giver.EU does not sell, issue or exchange GANESHA; rewards move between wallets and the on-chain escrow program.
Is GANESHA compliant with MiCA?
Not yet, and we would rather tell you openly than leave it in the small print. MiCA, the EU Regulation on Markets in Crypto-Assets, asks those who offer crypto-assets to the public to publish a crypto-asset white paper and to meet further duties of transparency and care. GANESHA was born as a community token before MiCA applied, and no MiCA white paper has been published for it yet. We are working on it: together with the Kybchain community we are preparing the white paper and the steps needed to bring GANESHA in line with MiCA, and we will report every step here and in the newsletter. Until then, please treat GANESHA as what it was made for: a community unit to reward each other for knowledge, goods and services, not an investment. Its value can go down, even to zero, so only use amounts you can do without. Giver.EU is made in the European Union and we want it to be a place you can trust, which is why we are taking European rules seriously from the start. Questions or advice on MiCA are very welcome: see the impressum for how to reach us.
Can I use other tokens, such as EURC or other stablecoins?
Not yet. The 0th Giver.EU bazaar uses GANESHA only. Support for stablecoins and other SPL tokens is planned for later, once the project is more established. Other instances of Giver.EU may of course run with a different utility token.
Can Giver.EU read my files?
Not for sealed knots: files, file names, licence keys and secrets are encrypted in your browser (XChaCha20-Poly1305, HPKE) before upload, and each redeemer receives the key in an envelope only they can open. For the optional instant delivery mode, Giver.EU hosts the files unencrypted.
What if the giver never delivers?
The escrow program returns the full reward to the redeemer once the deadline passes (default 7 days for knots, chosen by the giver for goods and services). Missed deadlines lower the giver's trust score.
What if something is wrong with a delivery?
Report a problem inside the confirmation window. The reward stays in escrow and the Giver.EU arbiter decides whether it goes to the giver or back to the redeemer.
What if I lose my browser or computer?
Your encryption key lives only in your browser. Download a backup on the keys page; without it, sealed knots delivered to you cannot be recovered by anyone, including Giver.EU.
How large can uploads be?
Up to 23 MB per knot. For bigger software, choose “i host it myself”: the download link and each redeemer's licence key are encrypted and revealed only after redemption.
What are the document facts and the sha-256?
When you add a PDF or text file, its size, page count or word count and its SHA-256 fingerprint are extracted automatically and shown on the knot page. After redemption, redeemers can check that the decrypted file has exactly this fingerprint.
Which wallets work?
Every Solana wallet that supports the Wallet Standard (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, OKX, Coinbase and others), the Mobile Wallet Adapter on Android, wallet in-app browsers on iOS, and Solana Pay QR codes.
Can AI agents use Giver.EU?
Yes. Agents can read the whole bazaar through the MCP server at https://giver.eu/api/mcp (search, knot details, redemption history, licence verification, FAQ) and the REST API described at https://giver.eu/api/openapi.json; https://giver.eu/llms.txt is the starting point. In browsers with WebMCP, every page also offers tools to an agent acting for you, from searching to filling in the give form or starting a redemption. Anything that moves value still needs your own signature in your wallet: an agent can prepare, never pay or give on its own. All routes and tools are documented in Annex A of the greenpaper (https://giver.eu/greenpaper.pdf).
When did Giver.EU launch on mainnet?
Giver.EU has been live on Solana mainnet since 5 October 2026. The first knot on mainnet is giver.tgz: its owners receive the right to run their own instance, support and future updates of Giver.EU.
Who owns Giver.EU?
All rights to the innovations and the code of Giver.EU belong to wizzion.com UG (haftungsbeschränkt) and the Guild of Exchange & Transport of Kyberia. Support and future updates of Giver.EU are provided to the owners of the giver.tgz knot.
